Laura is a professional hair and makeup artist working in TV, Fashion and Film for over 20 years. Originally from Australia and currently living and working in New York, Laura’s celebrity clients include Susan Sarandan, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Annabelle Wallis, Jon Legend, Rosario Dawson and many more.
Laura’s professional makeup kit has always been cruelty-free, however she is stepping it up by switching out her skincare, makeup and hair products to clean beauty.
Laura loves that the brands in The Green Edit community are vetted to ensure they are cruelty-free, ethical, clean and high performance.
As The Green Edit's Beauty Editor Laura is taking our curated edit of trusted clean beauty products on set and behind the scenes on shoots, TV and films to use on her celebrity clients.

From the hundreds of submissions we receive each year, less than two percent earn a spot in our curation. To pass the test, products have to be unquestionably best in class, free from anything on our Banned Ingredients List, and made by ethical founders who share our passion and authenticity.
Cathy Tolpigin
Cathy Tolpigin is an organic makeup artist, founder and curator of The Green Edit, an innovative digital platform and event series that promotes the best in clean beauty and lifestyle brands.
As a professional makeup artist who only uses clean, ethical products on both herself and clients, Cathy is passionate about making green beauty mainstream. She aims to inspire and educate without greenwashing, helping The Green Edit community to navigate the space with transparency.
Over the years, Cathy has researched, tried and tested hundreds of beauty and lifestyle products to find the best high performance, ethical and clean options on the market. The best of the best is what earns a place on The Green Edit.
When it comes to her personal beauty routine, Cathy seeks the whole package: truly natural products formulated with organic and botanical ingredients. They must be high performance, innovative, beautifully packaged and luxurious, all without compromising on the important aspects of sustainability, health and ethics.
Erin co-founded Nourished.nl, the original home of clean beauty & natural living in the Netherlands, along with her co-founder and best friend Floor Hendriks.
Together they set extremely high standards when choosing the products they curate and stock. Spending hundreds of hours investigating brands, ingredients & certifications to ensure they only offer the most natural, safe & effective products from Australia, New Zealand & beyond. They do the hard work so that their community don’t have to.
They pride themselves on having a personal connection with all of their brands and choose them based not only on their commitment to making the finest natural products, but also that social and environmental justice are one of their core values.

Emily is a freelance journalist and editor with over six years’ experience in publishing, specialising in the beauty, wellness and lifestyle categories. Over the course of her career, she’s worked across brands such as Byrdie, GRAZIA, Vogue Australia, Mecca Cosmetica, MyDomaine, Go-To Skincare, Beauticate, Sydney Morning Herald, Broadsheet and Who What Wear.
When she’s not creating content or testing new products, Emily can generally be found doing hot yoga, making pasta, swimming in the ocean or enjoying coffee with friends.

Skin expert Yvette is the founder of Australia's leading beauty desination Active Skin which stocks over 7000 beauty products.
Yvette opened the doors to ‘Escape’ in 1999, a stunning beauty sanctuary filled with candlelight, comfy treatment beds and where serious skincare took place. Fast forward with many sleepless nights and gutsy decision making along the way to Activeskin HQ, which houses Activeskin Salon.
Yvette still slips into the salon to consult with her first clients in between marketing & strategy meetings. Years of close customer interactions lead Yvette to wanting more than a cold online presence, which is why Activeskin is the leading beauty destination online with real beauty experts at the helm. Her superpower is getting ready in 6 minutes flat (yep, mascara and all!) and her weakness is a vitamin B serum, probably expertly layered to maximise efficacy of course!
