Recognised By The Green Edit Stamp Criteria

At The Green Edit, we also want to highlight brands that are raising the bar when it comes to a cleaner, more sustainable way of working. That’s why we have our ‘Recognised By The Green’ Edit stamp. This is not as stringent as our ‘Loved By The Green Edit’ criteria, but gives us an opportunity to celebrate brands and products that are working towards a better future.

To be eligible for this stamp, brands undergo an application process, and are vetted by us to ensure they’re effective, cruelty-free, and have a positive impact on the environment, including things such as production processes, packaging, ingredient sustainability, zero waste and carbon neutral practices. A brand might encompass one or all of the above - this will be disclosed by us.

Finally, brands Recognised By The Green Edit must also be formulated without a secondary, reduced list of potentially harmful ingredients, as mapped out by us below:

The Green Edit team, continue to review new data and better our criteria in light of new technological advancements and innovation.

We have curated and approved the cleanest available brands and products in each beauty and lifestyle category. Due to the nature of some products, there may be exemptions to the list above due to the ingredients necessary in the production of certain products. Decisions are made on a case-by-case manner with the utmost transparency. Participating brands must always be cruelty-free and ethically produced.
