Ep 3 - Fertility, Pregnancy and Holistic Beauty with Naturopath and Edible Beauty Founder Anna Mitsios
At the age of 18 Anna was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic and she became very passionate about the incredible ability of natural herbs, diet and supplements to manage her health condition.
After transitioning from a career in Finance and whilst working as a naturopath at a natural fertility clinic Anna was recommending that in addition to changes to their food and lifestyle routines, her patients make changes to their personal care products.
At the time she found that there were very few options available for natural skincare products that were "edible", but still luxurious and therapeutic. As a result, she embarked on creating her own range.
Anna quite literally started whipping shea butter, cocoa butter and rose water in her mother’s cake mixer, eventually sharing the creations with friends and family.
After much research, courses and cosmetic chemist meetings, Anna created the Edible Beauty Australia brand which now includes over 30 high performance skincare products, botanical beauty teas, delicious inner beauty elixirs, beauty tools and her newly launched Beauty Reset Drops which provide a natural alternative treatment to retinol.
All without a cake mixer in sight!
