Transparent and Honest Business Practices

The Green Edit is a platform that conducts business with the utmost honesty, integrity and transparency. We expect that brands who join The Green Edit community either in person at events of online via the Site share the same values and approach to business. In order to participate and engage in the Services of the Green Edit all brands must adhere to the following standard and criteria when registering their brand on the Site. There are two options and each Registered User and Member must select the option that their products align to based on the following criteria. The Green Edit team vett our brands by the criteria specified in Loved By The Green Edit Stamp and Recognised By The Green Edit Stamp criteria pages on the Site:

Loved By The Green Edit stamp criteria

By registering a brand for The Green Edit event, The Green Beauty Directory, Digital Promotional package or any other offering by becoming a member of The Green Edit community, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and confirm that the brand and products you submit for participation are ethically produced, sustainable, cruelty-free and do not contain any ingredients included on the Loved By The Green Edit Stamp criteria list.

Recognised By The Green Edit stamp criteria.

By registering a brand and becoming a Member of the Site and creating an Account, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and confirm that the brand and products you submit on the Member registration online payment form on this Site are ethically produced, sustainable, cruelty-free and do not contain any ingredients included on Recognised By The Green Edit stamp criteria list.

General Interest Registration

If your brand does not align with either the Loved By The Green Edit stamp criteria list or the Recognised By The Green Edit stamp criteria list you are required to tick the box on the Register Interest page that indicates that the brand you are registering does not align with either stamp criteria.

The purpose of the stamp criteria is to identify ingredients that are considered potentially harmful by researchers, educators and industry bodies. For more information about how and why we arrived at The Green Edit ingredient "no list", we recommend the following resources:

EWG

Chemical Maze

Think Dirty App

The list for both Loved By The Green Edit stamp criteria and Recognised By The Green Edit stamp criteria is not exhaustive, and will evolve as more research is made public. The idea of clean beauty is one that is subjective and constantly changing; we are committed to educating ourselves, and thus our readers, on all information as it becomes available. If you have any questions or comments, please email us at hello@thegreenedit.com.au. The Green Edit team continues to review new data and better our criteria in light of new technological advancements and innovation. We have curated and approved the cleanest available brands and products in each beauty and lifestyle category. Due to the nature of some products, there may be exemptions to the list above due to the ingredients necessary in the production of certain products. Decisions are made on a case-by-case manner with the utmost transparency. Participating brands must always be cruelty-free and ethically produced, this is non-negotiable.

6 Month Usage License - The Green Edit Stamp

In order to become a Member of The Green Edit community, the brand you registered must be approved in writing by The Green Edit team, next step you will be sent an online payment form confirming your selected package and inclusions. Once payment has been made, only then Members are permitted to display either the Loved By The Green Edit stamp or the Recognised By The Green Edit stamp that has been allocated to them to be featured alongside their brand, products and or services for a period of 6 months. After 6 months the Member may re-apply and pay the registration and stamp usage fee to continue the stamp usage licence. If payment has not been made, the usage of The Green Edit stamp/sticker expires, the Membership ends and the stamp/sticker can no longer be used by the brand that is no longer a paid and registered member. The Green Edit reserves the right to withdraw the use of the Loved By The Green Edit logo or the Recognised By The Green Edit logo for any reason as we deem necessary, including (but not limited to): inappropriate display of logo, defacing of logo (including adding words, icons and other graphics to the logo) and non-payment of fees. In order for the Event to be viable the venue must be able to accomodate 120 event guests.

1. The Green Edit may pivot to an online event on the 16th of March 2023
